Every tracked PSE stock ranked by real price performance over a period you choose, from one week to two years. Unlike Rankings, which sorts by size, this sorts by how much a stock has actually moved. Click Return to flip between gainers and losers first. Closes as of .
260 stocks with enough history for this period (of 267 tracked)
A stock without enough price history for a given period is left out of that period's list rather than shown with a guessed figure. Delayed/EOD data, not real-time.

Frequently asked questions
How the gainer and loser rankings on this page are built, and what a large move does and does not tell you.
01What are the top gaining PSE stocks right now?
The table above ranks every tracked Philippine Stock Exchange stock by its actual price return over the period you pick, from one week to two years, with the biggest gainers first. Click the Return heading to flip the same list and see the biggest losers instead.
02Why does this page not show today's gainers and losers?
Because a single day tells you almost nothing. One session's move on a thinly traded PSE stock is frequently a single order rather than a change in the business, so the shortest period here is one week. For the current session's action, the market map colours every company by its move today. Today on the market map →
03Why is the Philippine stock market down today?
This page deliberately does not answer for a single session, since a one-day move on most PSE stocks is noise rather than news. PSEye has a separate page for the current session that shows how many of the 282 tracked stocks fell, which sectors led the move, whether foreign investors were selling, and whether a move that size is unusual. It does not attribute causes, because price data cannot establish one. See today's session →
04How is the return calculated?
It is the percentage change between the closing price at the start of the period and the most recent close on file, using real daily closes from the exchange. Dividends are not added in, so a high-yield stock's total return to a holder was better than the figure shown here.
05Why is a stock I follow missing from the list?
A stock needs enough stored daily closes to cover the whole period before a return can be computed for it. Recently listed companies and long-suspended ones are left out of the periods they cannot cover, rather than being shown with an estimated number.
06Does a big gain mean a stock is worth buying?
No. This page measures what already happened, and a stock that has doubled has become more expensive relative to the same earnings, not cheaper. Momentum and value point in opposite directions here, which is why the screener carries P/E and P/B alongside price. Screen on valuation instead →
07What is momentum investing?
Buying what has already been rising, on the observation that trends persist for a while before reversing. It is the opposite of value investing, which buys what has fallen. The hard part is exits, because the same evidence that trends persist also says they end, usually sharply, which is why momentum is normally paired with a stop loss decided in advance. 08Is buying the biggest losers a strategy?
It is, and it is called contrarian investing: buying what most investors are selling, on the view that crowds overshoot both ways. It needs some way to tell a genuine overreaction from a company falling for good reason, which is its entire difficulty. Flip the Return sort to see the losers, then check the valuation and financials before assuming a fall was an overreaction. Full definition →
