First Abacus Financial Holdings Corporation (FAF) traces its roots from Seven Seas Oil Exploration and Resources, Inc., which was incorporated on February 15, 1994. The Company was primarily engaged in the business of oil exploration and development. On January 25, 1996, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the Company's change in corporate name to its present name, including a change in primary purpose into a financial holding company.
FAF's first strategic corporate realignment move was the acquisition of Abacus Capital & Investment Corporation (ACIC), an operating investment house. This acquisition also brought into FAF the subsidiaries of ACIC, namely, Abacus Securities Corporation (ASC) and Vista Holdings Corporation (VHC).
FAF, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in stockbroking activities, investment banking, real estate business, and other financial services. ACIC is primarily engaged in investment banking activities, management services, and treasury and other financial services. ASC is provides stockbroking services, while VHC is involved in buying and leasing condominium units.

First Abacus Financial Holdings Corporation trades on the Philippine Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FAF.
FAF is listed in the Financials sector of the Philippine Stock Exchange, where it ranks #28 of 31 by market capitalization. Across the whole exchange it is #244 of 282, at ₱596.6M.
FAF has traded between ₱0.50 and ₱0.67 over the past 52 weeks.
FAF's annualized volatility over the past year is 84.3%, which PSEye classifies as very high against other PSE-listed stocks. Higher volatility means bigger day-to-day price swings in either direction, not necessarily a worse outcome. See the Analytics panel above for the full risk profile.
PSEye has no cash dividend on record for FAF in roughly the last two years. That is a statement about the corporate actions published on PSE Edge over that window, not a guarantee the company has never paid or will not pay one.
In its latest annual filing (fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2025), FAF's revenue fell 72.4% versus the prior fiscal year. That's one year-over-year comparison, not a multi-year trend, so check the Balance sheet & income statement panel above for the full figures before drawing a conclusion.
PSEye doesn't rate stocks as good or bad buys. What this page can tell you is factual: where FAF ranks by market cap (#244 of 282 on the exchange), its price history, valuation ratios, dividend record and recent company disclosures, all shown above. Whether that adds up to a good stock depends on your own criteria, and is worth researching beyond any single page, including this one.
PSEye is a data tracker, not a financial advisor, so it can't tell you whether to invest in FAF or any other stock. The price, valuation, dividend and disclosure data on this page is meant to help you do your own research. Consider your own goals, risk tolerance and time horizon, and consult a licensed financial advisor before making an investment decision. If you're weighing a fixed, regular investment instead of a single lump sum, PSEye's DCA calculator shows how that strategy would have performed historically.
To buy FAF shares, open an account with a PSE-accredited stockbroker (most Philippine banks and several standalone brokers offer online trading accounts), fund it, and place a buy order using the ticker symbol FAF. A completed trade typically settles two trading days later (T+2). PSEye doesn't process trades or recommend a specific broker.
