Vantage Equities, Inc. (V), formerly iVantage Corporation, was incorporated on October 20, 1992 originally with the primary purpose of engaging in oil and gas exploration, and investments and developments as among its secondary purposes. On October 3, 2000, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the Company's change in name to iVantage Corporation, and the change in primary purpose to financial holdings and investments, including but not limited to information technology companies and related ventures. In 2008, the Company changed its corporate name back to the present one.
Presently, V is engaged in the business to invest, to hold, and to use for investment shares of capital stock, bonds, debentures, promissory notes, or other securities or obligations created, negotiated or issued by any corporation, association or other entities. V and its subsidiaries are organized into three major operating business segments, namely investment holdings, remittance services, and mutual fund management.
V's subsidiaries are Vantage Financial Corporation; iCurrencies, Inc.; Philequity Balanced Fund, Inc.; Philequity Foreign Currency Fixed Income Fund, Inc.; Philequity Alpha One Fund, Inc.; and Philequity Global Fund, Inc. V also owns 99.99% of Philequity Dynamic Allocation Fund, Inc., 69.49% of Philequity MSCI Philippines Index Fund, Inc., and 51% of Philequity Management, Inc.
