Bright Kindle Resources and Investments Inc. (BKR), formerly Bankard, Inc. (BKD), was incorporated in the Philippines on December 4, 1981 as a credit card corporation. On March 21, 1995, the Company listed its shares on the Philippine Stock Exchange. In 2007, BKD changed the nature of its business from a full credit card business of issuing cards and merchant acquiring to that of credit card servicing.
Prior to December 2013, the Company was a subsidiary of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCB). However, on October 18, 2013, the Board of RCB and RCBC Capital Corporation approved the sale of an 89.98% stake in BKD to RYM Business Management Corp. together with other investors. As a result, RYM acquired 81.77% of BKD. The Company then ceased acting as the administrator of RCB's credit card business.
In November 2013, the Board of BKR approved the change in name to the present one as well as the change in primary purpose to a holding company. At present, BKR has no operating segment and holds 19.9% of Marcventures Holdings Inc.

BKR has traded between ₱0.49 and ₱0.81 over the past 52 weeks. It is currently 35.8% below that high.
BKR's annualized volatility over the past year is 61.3%, which PSEye classifies as elevated against other PSE-listed stocks. Higher volatility means bigger day-to-day price swings in either direction, not necessarily a worse outcome. See the Analytics panel above for the full risk profile.
BKR trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 10.4 and a price-to-book of 0.57, based on basic earnings per share from its latest annual filing (fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2025). Annual figures can be up to a year old, so this is not a trailing-twelve-month multiple.
PSEye doesn't label any stock overvalued or undervalued. BKR currently trades at a P/E of 10.4 and a P/B of 0.57, but whether that's cheap or expensive depends on the sector, growth prospects, and what comparable companies trade at, none of which a ratio alone can tell you. For comparison, Financials peers with a computable ratio trade at a sector median P/E of 6.2 and a sector median P/B of 0.71 (18 peers). The Sector peers panel above lists 10 similarly-sized Financials companies to compare against directly.
PSEye has no cash dividend on record for BKR in roughly the last two years. That is a statement about the corporate actions published on PSE Edge over that window, not a guarantee the company has never paid or will not pay one.
In its latest annual filing (fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2025), BKR's revenue grew 20.3% and net income grew 368.0% versus the prior fiscal year. That's one year-over-year comparison, not a multi-year trend, so check the Balance sheet & income statement panel above for the full figures before drawing a conclusion.
PSEye doesn't rate stocks as good or bad buys. What this page can tell you is factual: where BKR ranks by market cap (#231 of 282 on the exchange), its price history, valuation ratios, dividend record and recent company disclosures, all shown above. Whether that adds up to a good stock depends on your own criteria, and is worth researching beyond any single page, including this one.
PSEye is a data tracker, not a financial advisor, so it can't tell you whether to invest in BKR or any other stock. The price, valuation, dividend and disclosure data on this page is meant to help you do your own research. Consider your own goals, risk tolerance and time horizon, and consult a licensed financial advisor before making an investment decision. If you're weighing a fixed, regular investment instead of a single lump sum, PSEye's DCA calculator shows how that strategy would have performed historically.
To buy BKR shares, open an account with a PSE-accredited stockbroker (most Philippine banks and several standalone brokers offer online trading accounts), fund it, and place a buy order using the ticker symbol BKR. A completed trade typically settles two trading days later (T+2). PSEye doesn't process trades or recommend a specific broker.
