Medco Holdings, Inc. (MED) was originally incorporated on October 23, 1969, as Mindanao Exploration & Development Corporation, engaged in mineral exploration and development. It adopted its current name in 1995.
With the entry of the Lippo Group through Citivest Asia Limited in the 1995, MED embarked on a major corporate shift that resulted in its transformation into an investment holding company. In line with the change in its primary business purpose, MED sold all its rights, titles, interests including all liabilities and obligations in its mining lease contracts and operating agreements to South Seas Oil & Mineral Exploration Development Co., Inc. Since then, MED has been engaged in investment holding activities.
At present, MED's investment portfolio is composed of holdings in companies involved in financial services (commercial and investment banking) and trade development (operation of exhibition halls and conference facilities).
MED's current affiliates are Export & Industry Bank, Inc. and Manila Exposition Complex, where the Company holds direct ownership of 2.45% and 18.18%, respectively.
Average % return by calendar month, up to 5 yearsof history. Only a few years back each month, so this is descriptive color, not a predictable “month effect.”
MEDCO Holdings, Inc. (PSE: MED) last traded at ₱0.11, down 1.82% on the day, as of Sep 10, 2026. Prices on this page are delayed or end-of-day, not real time.

MED is listed in the Financials sector of the Philippine Stock Exchange, where it ranks #30 of 31 by market capitalization. Across the whole exchange it is #266 of 282, at ₱347.5M.
MED has traded between ₱0.09 and ₱0.13 over the past 52 weeks. It is currently 15.6% below that high.
MED's annualized volatility over the past year is 115.7%, which PSEye classifies as very high against other PSE-listed stocks. Higher volatility means bigger day-to-day price swings in either direction, not necessarily a worse outcome. See the Analytics panel above for the full risk profile.
PSEye doesn't label any stock overvalued or undervalued. MED currently trades at a P/B of 10.80, but whether that's cheap or expensive depends on the sector, growth prospects, and what comparable companies trade at, none of which a ratio alone can tell you. For comparison, Financials peers with a computable ratio trade at a sector median P/B of 0.63 (18 peers). The Sector peers panel above lists 10 similarly-sized Financials companies to compare against directly.
PSEye has no cash dividend on record for MED in roughly the last two years. That is a statement about the corporate actions published on PSE Edge over that window, not a guarantee the company has never paid or will not pay one.
In its latest annual filing (fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2025), MED's revenue grew 21.4% versus the prior fiscal year. That's one year-over-year comparison, not a multi-year trend, so check the Balance sheet & income statement panel above for the full figures before drawing a conclusion.
PSEye doesn't rate stocks as good or bad buys. What this page can tell you is factual: where MED ranks by market cap (#266 of 282 on the exchange), its price history, valuation ratios, dividend record and recent company disclosures, all shown above. Whether that adds up to a good stock depends on your own criteria, and is worth researching beyond any single page, including this one.
PSEye is a data tracker, not a financial advisor, so it can't tell you whether to invest in MED or any other stock. The price, valuation, dividend and disclosure data on this page is meant to help you do your own research. Consider your own goals, risk tolerance and time horizon, and consult a licensed financial advisor before making an investment decision. If you're weighing a fixed, regular investment instead of a single lump sum, PSEye's DCA calculator shows how that strategy would have performed historically.
To buy MED shares, open an account with a PSE-accredited stockbroker (most Philippine banks and several standalone brokers offer online trading accounts), fund it, and place a buy order using the ticker symbol MED. A completed trade typically settles two trading days later (T+2). PSEye doesn't process trades or recommend a specific broker.
