Island Information & Technology, Inc. (IS) was originally incorporated on December 10, 1959 as Island Oil Company to primarily engage in oil exploration and mineral development projects. Due to losses incurred, the management decided to shift its oil exploration activities to metal mining in the province of Isabela, thus changing its name to Island Mining & Industrial Corporation on January 20, 1965. The increasing costs of operations, fluctuating price of metals in the world market and deteriorating peace and order situation severely affected the mining operations of IS, thus, the management decided to suspend its operations on November 28, 1981.
In 2000, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved another change in the Company's corporate name to its present name, and the change in its primary purpose to information technology. On April 4, 2005, SEC approved yet another amendment to the IS' articles of incorporation, particularly its primary and secondary purposes. The new primary purpose of IS is to provide cargo container management and integrated logistics services. The secondary purpose is to provide information technology.

IS is listed in the Services sector of the Philippine Stock Exchange, where it ranks #50 of 62 by market capitalization. Across the whole exchange it is #240 of 282, at ₱635.1M.
IS has traded between ₱0.08 and ₱0.18 over the past 52 weeks. It is currently 31.1% below that high.
IS's annualized volatility over the past year is 80.1%, which PSEye classifies as very high against other PSE-listed stocks. Higher volatility means bigger day-to-day price swings in either direction, not necessarily a worse outcome. See the Analytics panel above for the full risk profile.
PSEye has no cash dividend on record for IS in roughly the last two years. That is a statement about the corporate actions published on PSE Edge over that window, not a guarantee the company has never paid or will not pay one.
In its latest annual filing (fiscal year ended Oct 31, 2025), IS's revenue grew 25.2% versus the prior fiscal year. That's one year-over-year comparison, not a multi-year trend, so check the Balance sheet & income statement panel above for the full figures before drawing a conclusion.
PSEye doesn't rate stocks as good or bad buys. What this page can tell you is factual: where IS ranks by market cap (#240 of 282 on the exchange), its price history, valuation ratios, dividend record and recent company disclosures, all shown above. Whether that adds up to a good stock depends on your own criteria, and is worth researching beyond any single page, including this one.
PSEye is a data tracker, not a financial advisor, so it can't tell you whether to invest in IS or any other stock. The price, valuation, dividend and disclosure data on this page is meant to help you do your own research. Consider your own goals, risk tolerance and time horizon, and consult a licensed financial advisor before making an investment decision. If you're weighing a fixed, regular investment instead of a single lump sum, PSEye's DCA calculator shows how that strategy would have performed historically.
To buy IS shares, open an account with a PSE-accredited stockbroker (most Philippine banks and several standalone brokers offer online trading accounts), fund it, and place a buy order using the ticker symbol IS. A completed trade typically settles two trading days later (T+2). PSEye doesn't process trades or recommend a specific broker.
