Philippine Seven Corporation (SEVN) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on November 23, 1982. The Company acquired from Seven Eleven, Inc. of Dallas, Texas the license to operate 7-Eleven stores in the Philippines on December 13, 1982. SEVN opened its first store in February 1984 at the corner of Kamias Road and EDSA Quezon City, Metro Manila.
In July 1988, SEVN transferred its Philippine area license to operate 7-Eleven stores to its affiliate, Phil-Seven Properties Corporation (PSPC), together with some of its store properties, in exchange for shares of stock of PSPC. In May 1996, the stockholders of both SEVN and PSPC approved the merger of the two companies, with the SEC subsequently approving the merger in October that same year. PSPC was then absorbed by SEVN as the surviving entity.
SEVN and its subsidiaries are primarily engaged in the business of retailing, merchandising, buying, selling, marketing, importing, exporting, franchising, acquiring, holding, distributing, warehousing, trading, exchanging, collection and acceptance of payments or otherwise dealing in all kinds of grocery items, dry goods, food or foodstuff, beverages, drinks, and all kinds of consumer needs or requirements and in connection therewith, operating or maintaining warehouses, storages, delivery vehicles and similar or incidental facilities. The Company is also engaged in the management, development, sale, exchange, and holding for investment or otherwise of real estate of all kinds, including buildings, houses, and apartments and other structures.
As of December 31, 2024, the Company is operating 4,130 stores, 1,974 of which are franchise stores and the remaining 2,156 are Company-owned.

SEVN trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 13.3 and a price-to-book of 4.30, based on basic earnings per share from its latest annual filing (fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2025). Annual figures can be up to a year old, so this is not a trailing-twelve-month multiple.
PSEye doesn't label any stock overvalued or undervalued. SEVN currently trades at a P/E of 13.3 and a P/B of 4.30, but whether that's cheap or expensive depends on the sector, growth prospects, and what comparable companies trade at, none of which a ratio alone can tell you. For comparison, Services peers with a computable ratio trade at a sector median P/E of 8.5 and a sector median P/B of 0.98 (31 peers). The Sector peers panel above lists 10 similarly-sized Services companies to compare against directly.
Yes. SEVN has paid 1 cash dividend in the last twelve months, totalling ₱1.10 per share, a trailing yield of 3.47% at the current price. Cash dividends have a 10% final withholding tax deducted before they reach your account.
In its latest annual filing (fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2025), SEVN's revenue grew 6.9% and net income fell 5.5% versus the prior fiscal year. That's one year-over-year comparison, not a multi-year trend, so check the Balance sheet & income statement panel above for the full figures before drawing a conclusion.
PSEye doesn't rate stocks as good or bad buys. What this page can tell you is factual: where SEVN ranks by market cap (#56 of 282 on the exchange), its price history, valuation ratios, dividend record and recent company disclosures, all shown above. Whether that adds up to a good stock depends on your own criteria, and is worth researching beyond any single page, including this one.
PSEye is a data tracker, not a financial advisor, so it can't tell you whether to invest in SEVN or any other stock. The price, valuation, dividend and disclosure data on this page is meant to help you do your own research. Consider your own goals, risk tolerance and time horizon, and consult a licensed financial advisor before making an investment decision. If you're weighing a fixed, regular investment instead of a single lump sum, PSEye's DCA calculator shows how that strategy would have performed historically.
To buy SEVN shares, open an account with a PSE-accredited stockbroker (most Philippine banks and several standalone brokers offer online trading accounts), fund it, and place a buy order using the ticker symbol SEVN. A completed trade typically settles two trading days later (T+2). PSEye doesn't process trades or recommend a specific broker.
