Paxys, Inc. (PAX) was originally incorporated on February 14, 1952 as Fil-Hispano Holdings Corporation (FHHC) and engaged in the manufacturing of ceramics. Following the cessation of its ceramics business, FHHC was acquired by the principal shareholder of Advanced Contact Solutions, Inc., a call center company, through a reverse takeover in 2004. In the following year, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the change in FHHC's corporate name to the present one.
PAX is currently an investment holding company. Through its sole operating subsidiary, Scopeworks Asia, Inc. (SAI), PAX provides general transcription, data conversion, contact center and other business process outsourcing (BPO) services. SAI is a Philippine BPO company that offers its services to both domestic and foreign institutions, as well as to multinational companies based in the Philippines and abroad.
As at December 31, 2024, its major shareholders are All Asia Customer Services Holdings Ltd., a privately held company incorporated in Hong Kong, and Paxys NV, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, with 54.93% and 30.09% equity interests, respectively.
