Share price divided by book value per share, meaning what the company's own balance sheet says each share is worth after subtracting everything it owes. A P/B under 1 says the market values the company at less than its accounting net worth, which can mean it is cheap or that the market doubts those book values. PSEye computes this from each company's latest annual filing, so it reflects that fiscal year rather than today. Shows N/A for a company with negative book value, one with no annual filing on record, or one of the handful of PSE issuers that report in US or Canadian dollars, where a peso price divided by a foreign-currency figure would be off by the exchange rate.
